lily & frank

fun little logo design for new start-up business lily & frank, a vintage accessories company. the client wanted portraits of the two main characters (the swallow and the dog) to be included, and wanted the main text to be simple and tall. i'm really fond of the colour scheme of this one.

custom evelyn illustrations

rebecca approached me requesting two custom portrait illustrations of her little girl. she wanted them to be themed around food and music, suggesting evelyn could be banging a drum in one and eating a cake in the other. she suggested the wording as well (both words/phrases that evelyn likes to use!) we tried a few different colour schemes but settled on the pink as they would look great side by side on the wall together.

i'm always open to custom portrait illustrations, please don't hestitate to get in touch with your ideas :)

custom family illustration

i love working with each and every one of my clients, whether they're new or returning, i love the challenge that every little or large project brings. one of my favourite things is being approached for completely custom illustration work, which is what i was asked for in this instance. andy wanted a family portrait but with a difference: a huge piece depicting him and his family and their passions, including bike riding and horse riding, active within their home town (sunny colchester). i included little landmarks as well as illustrations of their family homes.

it was a big challenge for me as it was the first single illustration of this size i'd ever taken on (there's a reason i'm called tinysketchbook...) but a thoroughly enjoyable one.
