pen + paper

some examples of hand-drawn type, of quotes from 'alice in wonderland'.

final major project part I

for my final major project at uni i produced thirteen posters, to represent one song from each studio album, that were visual representations of songs by the beatles. i wanted something which would hold my interest for three or four months and also something which would allow me enough room for creativity and exploration. i really enjoyed it! i produced some work that i'm very proud of.

journal typography

covers from two journals i submitted as part of my pdp (professional development planning) module a month or so ago. each journal was roughly A6.

the best karaoke duet that never happened

i drew this whilst manning our stand at the d&ad: new blood exhibition over the weekend. it is sadly not based on a true story, but rather my classmate oly suggesting "draw phil and i doing karaoke!". the song suggestion came from someone else though ;)

"i have ended you"

philip and myself have recently discovered the joys of making mini zines, and are planning to create a whole series of them. this one is a sort of in-joke, based on a story involving my little brother. so this is a zine inspired by him. i did twenty copies of this, but have given a few out to people already.

bear's boutique

a little painting i did for my friend's birthday, in celebration of her opening her etsy shop soon. link to come!

top 25 most played

when we get back to uni after easter we're going to put together another little fund-raising show based on everyone's most played song in their music library. mine's 'my name is trouble' by the glorious nightmare of you. this is my piece; paper cut-outs on card.
