animal dress-up series #1

because myself and fellow dingbat phil have been so busy working on client briefs lately, i've had little to no time to sit and just draw, or work on any self-initiated projects.

so last night when i was dead tired but on a roll with getting stuff done, i decided to start a new series of illustrations, and i'm naming it 'animal dress-up'. here's #1, a little fox boy.

it's gone 4pm and i still haven't had a cup of tea.

there's no milk in the flat :(

final major project part I

for my final major project at uni i produced thirteen posters, to represent one song from each studio album, that were visual representations of songs by the beatles. i wanted something which would hold my interest for three or four months and also something which would allow me enough room for creativity and exploration. i really enjoyed it! i produced some work that i'm very proud of.

the best karaoke duet that never happened

i drew this whilst manning our stand at the d&ad: new blood exhibition over the weekend. it is sadly not based on a true story, but rather my classmate oly suggesting "draw phil and i doing karaoke!". the song suggestion came from someone else though ;)

i made this last christmas for one of my best friends. if the beatles had pokémon, essentially.

"i have ended you"

philip and myself have recently discovered the joys of making mini zines, and are planning to create a whole series of them. this one is a sort of in-joke, based on a story involving my little brother. so this is a zine inspired by him. i did twenty copies of this, but have given a few out to people already.
